Japanese Tape recorder from the 70s.
This semi-professional model from Otari—now a rarity—is in its original condition.
It has undergone a complete inspection and functional check by our technician, though it has not been restored.
The machine offers two speeds: 19 cm/s (7½ ips) and 38 cm/s (15 ips).
A special feature is the inclusion of a second 4-track playback head.
There are a few signs of wear on the wooden side panels, but otherwise, it is very well preserved.
Otari machines are rugged, durable units manufactured in Japan.
This unit comes from a well-known sound engineer and is suitable for both recording and playback.
MK I models have become sought-after collector's items and are rarely available on the market.
