Rubber Top Platter Supports
These rubber supports decouple the alumium top platter from the main platter while ensuring instant startup through frictionless contact with the rotating main platter when the start/stop lever is engaged. Our rubber supports are manufactured to considerably tighter tolerances than those originally supplied by Thorens. NOS Thorens parts show deviations from specification as high as +/- 0.2mm, resulting in poor contact between the top and main platters. After years of use involving the start/stop mechanism, these pieces must be replaced!
The set includes 6 rubber platter supports, self clueing, for use with all TD 124 Mark I and II models.
